Now that the deed is done I know it was the right thing to do but I miss it anyway. It was a real pretty bike and quite the conversation piece. The last I saw it the new owner had a big smile on his face as he turned South to his home in Louisiana.
Retired Old Motorcyclist Eating Out. Plus some Royal Enfield and W650 stuff and random BS from a old motorcycle fart. Cross posted from http://wil6831.multiply.com/ which is closing down at the end of the year. All my old stuff was transferred here and in the process pictures were lost, post are out of sequence, etc. I'll re-post pics when I have time.

W650 Sold
When I traded the broken Royal Enfield in on the Triumph Bonneville I made the decision to sell the W650. That was just over a year ago and yesterday (June 27th) the Dubya went home with a new owner. Paul flew into Wichita and I met him at the airport, his plan was to ride it home.
Now that the deed is done I know it was the right thing to do but I miss it anyway. It was a real pretty bike and quite the conversation piece. The last I saw it the new owner had a big smile on his face as he turned South to his home in Louisiana.

That sure was a pretty bike. It's hard to own two bikes, though. You never know which one to ride. I'm glad you found an appreciative buyer.
